GROUND SEARCH & RESCUE
Ground Search and Rescue is the foundation of everything we do. Our objective is to Locate, Access, Stabilize and Transport. If someone is lost, stranded or hurt, we are trained in many specialized techniques and types of equipment to help us find them, get to them and get them out.
We use many different types of searching in urban, rural and wilderness environments to help us locate someone
Some of these techniques include Sweep searching, Grid searches, GPS use, Tracking, K9 Units and using drones. We are trained to search in all kinds of conditions and environments using different techniques based on the situation. Whether it is in the mountains or going door to door in town, we can help.
To access someone in need or to get to where we need to go we can use many different types of transport including Response trucks, ATVs, Boats, UTV, E-Bikes, Skis and helicopters
These tools help us get close but usually there is still a lot of walking, hiking, bush whacking or scrambling required. We are all trained to route find, navigate and get through to get to our objective and access the location where we are needed. Once we have found our subject or have arrived on scene we assess the situation and stabilize it before using some of these methods to get back out again.
