RECENT EVENTS: Nov. 15: Pocahontus Mt. On Nov 15th, PRSAR was called out to assist Texada SAR search for a lost 55 year old lady. The lady did not return from mushroom picking in the Pocahontus Mt. area. 15 PRSAR members and 2 search dogs arrived at the LKP to hear contact had been made. The subject responded to calls from Texada SAR members, as she traveled towards RCMP sirens sounded from the LKP. The subject stayed put and was able to start a fire to keep warm during the wet and cold night.
